popular Filipino boxing star Manny Pacquiao earned a stunning victory over Miguel Cotto stopping his opponent in the 12th round of their WBO welterweight clash.

Pacquiao, 30, dominated throughout and had his Puerto Rican opponent down in the third and fourth rounds with his fierce left hook doing the damage.

More punishment followed for Cotto before referee Kenny Bayless stopped the fight 55 seconds into round 12.

The Filipino’s victory saw him win his seventh title in seven weight classes.

Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao and Puerto Rican WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto are now preparing to climb the ring for their ‘Firepower’ match at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada.
In about two hours in Las Vegas Nevada, popular boxer Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines will climb the ring of the MGM Grand Arena to face his boxing opponent, Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico for the WBO championship crown.
Pacquiao is currently preparing for his most challenging fight of the year while Miguel Cotto is aiming to snatch the Ring Magazine pound-for-pound title from the the Filipino boxer.
