Near dead nepal airlines is preparing to buy new planes to cover its flight routes and preparing the destination Nepal year 2011. According to Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation Sharat Singh Bhandari said the Nepali government would purchase seven planes within next five years. Speaking at an interaction in the capital Kathmandu on Sunday, Bhandari said that the government was planning to buy seven planes keeping the Nepal Year 2011 into consideration.
“The government is supporting the deal to buy the planes,” he said.
Bhandari said that the two companies, Boeing and Airbus, had approached for the purchase of the planes following the publication of the tender.
We will finalise the process by the end of this month, he said.
Bhandari expressed his confidence that there would not be obstacles in the government bid to buy the planes.
According to the minister, more than 1 million people are expected to visit the country during the campaign of Nepal Year 2011.
